Collection: Q Fever
What is Q Fever?
Q Fever is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Coxiella burnetii, which is typically transmitted to humans through inhalation of dust particles contaminated by infected animals—most commonly cattle, sheep, and goats. The infection can be acute or chronic, and while many cases are mild or symptom-free, some people may develop severe flu-like symptoms or complications involving the liver, lungs, or heart.
Q Fever can become life-threatening if not managed properly, especially in people with weakened immune systems or pre-existing heart or liver conditions.
Symptoms of Q Fever
- High fever and chills
- Fatigue and muscle aches
- Severe headache
- Dry cough or chest discomfort
- Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
- Pain in the abdomen or chest
- In chronic cases: heart valve infections (endocarditis), liver inflammation, or persistent fatigue
Natural Support for Q Fever
To help support the body during recovery and reduce inflammation, our practitioners recommend:
- CH184 Immune Booster Capsules – Strengthens the immune system to help fight off bacterial infections and reduce the severity of symptoms.
- CH31 LiverCare Tincture – Supports detoxification and liver health, particularly helpful if the liver is affected during infection.
- CH12 BronciCare Tincture – Assists in relieving respiratory symptoms such as dry cough or lung discomfort, often present in acute cases.
- P01 Oxygen Drops Liquid – Helps increase cellular oxygenation, improve energy levels, and speed up recovery by enhancing the body's natural healing ability.
- CH196 Colloidal Silver Liquid – A natural antimicrobial agent that may help combat bacterial overload and support immune resilience during recovery.
Natural Ways to Support Recovery from Q Fever
- Get plenty of rest – Recovery from bacterial infections requires deep rest and immune support.
- Stay well-hydrated – Drink water, herbal teas, and broths to flush toxins and support organ function.
- Eat immune-boosting foods – Include garlic, ginger, turmeric, citrus fruits, and leafy greens.
- Avoid alcohol and processed foods – These can strain the liver and weaken the immune system.
- Use warm compresses or baths – To ease muscle aches and encourage circulation.
- Support gut health – A healthy gut supports a strong immune system; consider adding probiotic-rich foods.
Note: While natural remedies are a valuable part of recovery, Q Fever can become serious or chronic in some individuals. If you experience persistent fever, chest pain, or signs of liver or heart complications, please consult a healthcare professional immediately
